OWEN ELSLEY

Owen is a Sydney-based singer, pianist and composer. As a singer, Owen has performed with St Paul’s College Chapel Choir, the Choir of St James’ Church, King St, the Song Company (as both a Young Artist and Guest Artist), Pinchgut Opera, Sydney Chamber Choir, Cantillation and the Canberra Bach Society. In 2017, Owen attended a workshop at Carnegie Hall, New York, directed by Peter Phillips and the Tallis Scholars.
As a composer, Owen has had his work performed by The Choir of St James’ Church King St, The Leichardt Espresso Chorus, The Sydney Children's Choir, The Hunter Singers, the St Paul’s College Chapel Choir, Moorambilla Voices, the Combined RSCM Children’s Choir and the Leichardt Children’s Choir. In 2016, he was the winner of the Liturgical Division of the Australian Catholic University’s Isabel Menton Composition Award.
