LACHLAN HUGHES

TENOR


Lachlan is a versatile musician with wide-ranging interests. In 2012 he graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the top of his cohort, receiving a first class honours degree and the Horace Keats Memorial Prize for Composition. He is now studying Medieval and Modern Languages at Oxford University, where he sings as a tenor lay clerk in the renowned choir of the Queen’s College. Elsewhere in Oxford he sings regularly with groups such as the Oxford Bach Soloists, Sospiri, and the choir of St Mary Magdalen Church. In 2015/16 he was the Musical Director of the Oxford Gargoyles, Oxford’s internationally renowned vocal jazz ensemble.
